BEHIND-THE-SCENES
Meet the I Come As One team.
FATIMAH
Co-Host
Dr. Fatimah Pierce is an equity champion and management consultant on a mission to help create inclusive organizations and support Black women’s healing from workplace trauma. After spending more than two decades as a Washington, DC bureaucrat, she’s honed in how to foster equity through strategic planning, business process improvement, and policy development, moving past traditional diversity, equity, and inclusion models that tend to only focus on HR activities. In addition to advising corporate and government clients, Dr. Pierce serves as an adjunct professor, nonprofit board member, and mentor. As a certified coach, she empowers careerists and micropreneurs, equipping them with strategies and support to successfully achieve their goals.
KHRISTEN
Co-Host
Dr. Khristen Holmes is a healthcare advocate, health system administrator, and researcher who focuses on addressing social determinants of health among people of color. Over the last 10 years, she has worked to improve the health of communities across Florida. However, it has been challenging for her to continue this important work while remaining authentic and true to herself. These experiences were the driving force for Dr. Holmes to begin her consulting company where she has worked with non-profit and federal organizations to improve processes, conduct healthcare research, and develop strategies to improve the health of communities.
